The museum’s exhibits tell the story of 2 , 500 years of Jewish life in the Diaspora—in Poland , Mexico , the United States , Ethiopia , Japan , Australia , and many more places where Jews have lived and continue to live . Visitors can enjoy the exhibits , research their family trees at the computer center , and view the museum’s replica collection of miniature synagogues from around the world . Fifty percent of the polished diamonds in the world have been polished in Israel .
