Read the fable Reading and Writing מליאה . One day, the City Mouse visits his friend, the Country Mouse They are sitting outside his small house on the grass . The Country Mouse gives his friend some bread, vegetables and water . It is very quiet, so they sit together, eat, and listen to the birds sing . They are having fun together . Now it’s the Country Mouse’s turn to check the city . In the city, the streets are very busy . People walk quickly, and cars, buses, and trucks make a lot of noise . The City Mouse’s house is big . It has many rooms and a long hall . They sit at a big table and eat cheese, fruit, and some cake . Then there is a noise ! “Quick ! We must hide ! ” says the City Mouse They jump into a small hole in the wall . A cat runs in the hall and breaks some chairs . The mice are very scared and do not feel safe . The Country Mouse’s Heart is beating fast . “I’m not sure I like this”, he says . “In the country, I have only bread and water . But it is quiet . And I’m not scared .
