You can learn new things and have fun too ! You can help people, animals or the environment * . There are many things you can do to help . You can join a club that helps people . You can help classmates at school, your parents at home, or someone on the street . Sometimes helping is simple : smile at a friend, listen to somebody , or just say “ Don’t worry ” . Here are some interesting ideas for how you can help others : Clean up a dirty park or beach . Visit elderly people and read them the news . Help a child read or complete his homework . Help people at the community center . Visit sick people at the hospital and talk with them . Write notes to your friends with a happy message . Make a friend’s day better with some chocolate . Help a family on holiday with their kids . Teach kids how to swim at the pool . Help elderly people with screens and computers . Organize * documents at the library . Collect * money to help protect animals . Talk on the phone with someone who is alone . Anybody can help and make somebody’s day better . Begin with something small . Do it for a few minutes . then for an hour . Do more every week .
