Play : Snakes and Ladders Divide the class into teams : Team A and Team B . ● Teams take turns rolling the die . ● If they land on a question mark, the team must name the picture . ● Ask students to repeat the word . ○ Ask students to give a sentence with the word . ○ Whichever team gets to the top first, wins . ● Play the game multiple times so more students can have a turn . ● Lesson extension idea : Give students a blank Snakes and Ladders board so they can create their own version of the game . Name vocabulary words in the picture and have students point to them . ● Ask students “What color is the ( book, pencil, notebook, pen, marker ) ? ” ● Ask students, “Who has a ( book, pencil, notebook, pen, marker ) ? ” and have them hold ● it up as an answer .
