223 My Way, Teacher's Guide ❖ Students can copy individual letters in the correct direction . ❖ Students can write the letters of the alphabet in upper and lower case . ❖ Students can demonstrate understanding of a word by matching it to a picture . Additional materials needed for this Lesson At the start of class : markers or crayons . Whole - Class Instruction : Digital Review Click on the Review tab . ● Students will see the last letter learned and hear the letter sound and name of the ● pictured item . ( i → igloo ) Call on a student to name a letter already learned ( highlighted in blue ) . ● Click on the letter to hear the audio . ● For each letter, ask students to name other words they remember that start with the ● same letter sound .
