Learn : Instructional Template Click on Learn and have students look at the scene . ● Ask students what they see in the picture . ● Who / What do you see ? ○ Where are they ? ○ What colors do you see ? ○ Click on the right arrow to show one picture at a time . ● Ask : “What do you see ? ,” “What body part is this ? ” ● Call on students to answer . ● Scaffolding options : ○ Name the animal / item or adjective . ( Example : head ) ■ Say a sentence . ( Example : It’s a head . ) ■ Have all students point to the body part on themselves . ● Keep clicking to the right to review all the body parts . ● Lesson extension ideas : Call out body parts and have students quickly point to them . . 1 Play ”Buddy Says” with students : Use your best Buddy voice to call out where students . 2 should point their hands : “Buddy says : head” etc . One time, leave out “Buddy says . ” Students who remain in place because Buddy did not say the instructions stay in the game . Go faster and faster . Optional : Let students lead the game .
