סתמי Impersonal sentences - In Hebrew , it is common to have sentences in which there is no subject and the verb is in the third person plural masculine form . This structure is used when we want to talk about something people do in general , or when we do not know who is doing the action . . סתמי These impersonal expressions are called Impersonal sentences exist in all tenses . דוגמה : בבוקרקמים והולכים לבית הספר . אכלו את העוגה שלי . In English , we often use you or they in these types of expressions , or one in more formal English . For example : In Israel you go to school on Sundays . In Canada they speak French and English . The plural of masculine and feminine nouns _ . ים In Hebrew , with most masculine nouns the plural is formed by adding דוגמה : בניין – בניינים חדר – חדרים _ . ות With most feminine nouns the plural is formed by adding דוגמה : ספרייה – ספריות כיתה – כיתות _ . ות However , with some masculine nouns the plural is formed by adding דוגמה : חלון – חלונות שולחן – שולחנות _ ים With some feminine nouns the plural is formed by adding דוגמה : שנה – שנים מילה - מילים There is no rule , but with time ll’you learn them by heart !
