The Torah tells us that Jacob "set out with all that was his, and he came to Beersheva, where he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac" (Genesis 46:1). Today, Beersheva is home to Jews from all around the world and to many Bedouin––the nomadic, or wandering, Arab tribes of the desert. This Bedouin woman is wearing a traditional face covering.
