The Israeli Scouts Israel has a variety of youth movements . Many , such as Bnai Akiva and Hashomer Hatza’ir , are based on religious and political beliefs . One youth movement that welcomes all Israeli boys and girls––religious and nonreligious , and Jews and non-Jews of all political beliefs––is the Israeli Scout Federation . The federation is connected to the international scouting movement and also to Young Judaea , an American Zionist youth movement . Groups of Israeli Scouts spend summers working in American scout camps and Young Judaea camps .
