Section Task : Going to press Preparing an interview Write the questions and answers that could appear in a "Meet the Editor" interview . Base the interview on the newspaper or news site you are developing for your project . Use the questions and answers to journalists on pages 42-43 as models . 1 . Use the information you have about the task ofa newspaper ' s managing editor , based on page 41 , as well as conclusions you can draw from your personal experience preparing your print newspaper or online news site . 2 . Make a list of 5-8 questions for the interview . All questions should relate to the work of the managing editor . Questions should use the correct grammatical structure . 3 . Write a suitable and relevant answer to each question . 4 . Organize the questions and answers so that each question follows logically from the previous question and / or answer . Add or replace questions and / or answers that do not fit the logical development of the interview . 5 . Read over the interview and make corrections . Use a dictionary or spell checker to check your spelling . Show your work to a partner and make corrections or improvements based on his or her feedback . 6 . Use the checklist below to make sure that your work is ready to submit to your teacher . Submit your final draft , with one or more early drafts . Your teacher will assess your work using the rubric on ^ ^ 85 . The following checklist shows what you should have in your completed task . H The interview is made up of 5-8 questions and answers . ?
