Link to Language : Adjectives We use adjectives to describe people , animals , or things . Examples : In China , the snake is a wise animal . In Western culture , horses are hardworking and strong animals . 1 Read the fable below and notice how adjectives are used to describe the animals . The lion was the king of all the animals .
