Talk and Say : Scene Ask : ● What do you see in the picture ? ○ Where is the bag ? ○ As students say an item, click on it . The audio will play . ● Scaffolding options : ○ Name an item . ( chair ) ■ Name the color + item . ( red bag ) ■ Name the color + item + location . ( Example : The bag is on the chair . ) ■ Have students chorally repeat what they hear . ● Call on individual students to practice . ● Important concept : Point out that there is an “a” before the single nouns, and an “s” at the end of “black markers”, showing that it is plural . Audio : Open the window . Close the door . The marker is on the board . The bird is on the desk . The bag is on the chair . For more information on using Talk and Say, see TG, Talk and Say, page 21 . Play : Thumbs - Up / Thumbs - Down V1 Each picture will play a recording . ● Have students show you their answers using their thumbs . ● Thumbs - up : The word is right . ● Thumbs - down : The word is wrong . ● After each picture, have the class repeat the word chorally and then individually . ● Note : There is a game timer, but you can restart the game as needed .
