42 My Way, Teacher's Guide Important concept : Remind students that names always start with an uppercase letter and the rest of the letters are lowercase . Show how Zoe’s name is written in this format as an example . Reminder : Walk around and make sure students are speaking to one another in English . Learning Objectives ❖ Students can recognize new vocabulary in a variety of receptive forms . ❖ Students can repeat phrases and short sentences . ❖ Students can manage very short, isolated utterances . ❖ Students can recognize words they know in short, simple recordings . Additional materials needed for this Lesson : Have students place markers, crayons, or colored pencils in red, yellow, green, blue, and black on their desks . Have students prepare scissors and glue or tape to make the puppets described in Exercise 4 below . Pg . 14, Exercise 1 : Listen and color .
