Explain the example to students, showing what Tommy does and does not like . ● Role play asking Tommy, “Do you like to walk ? ” Using a different voice or a student ● volunteer, answer, “Yes, I do . ” Have students ask three peers about the activities they do and do not like, using the ● structure : “Do you like to ( verb ) ? ” Students can answer : ○ “Yes, I do” or “No, I don’t . ” ■ “Yes, I like to ( verb ) ” or “No, I don’t like to ( verb ) . ” ■ Note : Students should have their peers write their names into their book . Reminder : Walk around the classroom to make sure students are communicating with each other in English and are engaging fully with the exercise . The Letter Gg Learning Objectives : ❖ Students can recognize the letters of the alphabet in upper and lower case . ❖ Students can copy individual letters in the correct direction . ❖ Students can write the letters of the alphabet in upper and lower case . ❖ Students can demonstrate understanding of a word by matching it to a picture . Whole - Class Instruction : Digital Review Click on the Review tab . ● Students will see the last letter learned and hear the letter sound and the name of the ● pictured item . ( t → tiger ) Call on a student to name a letter already learned ( highlighted in blue ) . ● Click on the letter to hear the audio . ● Ask students to name other words they remember that start with the same letter ● sounds, for each letter .
