Where is the cat ? ○ What does Sam have ? ○ How does Sam feel ? ○ Call on individual students to read the sentence that answers the question . ● Pg . 113, Exercise 4 : Read and complete . Have students read the sentence and write the missing word . ● Use the pictures for help . ○ Answer key : mat / map → Sam has a mat or Sam has a map . Challenge exercise : Write another sentence about the picture using the story for help . ● Answer key : Sam has a mat / map / cat ( whichever the student did not write above ) . Important tip : Students should be reminded to use an uppercase letter at the beginning of a sentence and a period at the end .
